Stirrup Tray | chrome-plated
A product of the 1970s, this Hermès tray can provide a vintage touch to any table, either as the charcuterie board at your gathering, or repurposed completely as a catchall for your foyer. The handle of the tray is in the form of a stylised stirrup, invoking Hermès origins as saddlers. Additionally, the piece has a very subtle reminder of its provenance engraved into the side: âCoupe François Andre â 18 Avril 1976â, suggesting that it lived a past life as a sports trophy.

Condition
This Hermès tray remains in good condition, for an object of its age. The makerâs hallmark emblem, together with Hermès Paris stamp, are clearly visible. The bottom displays some minor scratches, consistent with wear. Some oxidisation is visible which can be polished off.
The outside rim features the engraving "Coupe François Andre â 18 Avril 1976".
