Nestled into a silk-lined, original box, this charming Hermès smoking set conjures up visions of the past with its silvered surfaces. This full set includes two ashtrays, a matchbox holder and two cups. Beautifully crafted by Ravinet d’Enfert, each piece possesses a decorative engine-turned pattern. They are all finished with a smooth polished trim, as well as plain centre pieces on the ashtray and case, where the original owner could have engraved their initials. In this case, they’ve left that decision up to you.
Looking closer, on the base of the cup and match box case, and on the side of the ashtray, the maker’s hallmark and "Hermès Paris" are stamped. While the iconic Hermès address, 24 rue de Faubourg, Saint-Honoré, Paris, is printed on the box’s silk interior.
