Small Travel Clock | Pink Gold-plated
An elegant example of a Cartier travel clock, with a stunning rose-gold dial, hands and applied indices.
This Cartier-signed clock has an attractive salmon dial, with applied rose-gold indices that match the metal casing. Additionally, the outer case is in deep brown felt, a much softer texture compared to typical leather examples. The case can be swivelled open to reveal the clock face, and also doubles up as a stand for the piece.
Given the especially small size of the clock, it is possible that these clocks were powered by a variant of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso movement, given the manufacture's status as one of the largest makers and suppliers of these clocks in the period, and the need for a more delicately sized movement.
If sold within the United Kingdom, this Cartier clock will be subject to 20% VAT.
